For those who have been affected by breast cancer, and felt alone during the process, there is now a Facebook group showing support for those women.

The Facebook group is called, “Breasties, Young Breast Cancer Warriors of Northern Illinois.” This group is providing guidance and support for the women in the Northern Illinois and Stateline area who have been diagnosed with breast cancer or gone through treatment.

“We found that we really need the support of each other,” said page creator Ashley Rogers. “It helps so much to get through treatment when you have somebody else who’s been there, who kind of knows what you’re going through. We can all kind of fight together. It made us a little stronger in numbers.”
