Good news! More encouraging signs that we’re starting to find our way out of this pandemic. We might be seeing the return of the 4th of July Parade in Rockford!
Rockford’s Codes and Regulations Committee approved five events this summer including……
- Kentucky Derby Party at Don Carter Lanes on May 1
- Miracle Mile Rockford Cruise and Car Show on May 29
- Memorial Day Parade on May 31
- Lifescape 4th of July 8k Walk and Run
- 4th of July Parade and Fireworks
- Block 5 – Trucks and Tunes 4th of July Celebration
Of course it all depends on CDC, state and county guidelines at the time. However officials say were moving in the right direction. The events will move on to full council next Monday.
