On Monday, November 23rd, Rock Valley College held a Cornerstone Ceremony for the removal of a time capsule that was placed inside an exterior wall of the Educational Resource Center back in 1970. The capsule was removed after 50 years in front of a limited audience of current and former college staff and alumni. For everyone else, a live stream was held on Rock Valley College’s Facebook page.

A new time capsule replaced the old one with contents that represent the year 2020. With everything that has happened this year, it’s interesting to envision what future students and staff will think about 2020.
