If you’re headed downtown to go dine outdoors or visit the Rockford City Market tonight, there are a few things you should know first. The River District Association has made the decision to close a few streets downtown for a second week, to make it possible for restaurants to extend their outdoor seating options.

Starting at 3 pm, the bridge on State Street, Madison Street between E. State Street, Market Street, and the 200, 300, 400, & 500 blocks of E. State Street, will be closed to traffic.
