I have noticed that at the pumpkins at these local shopping centers are either bruised or just too small. I went to Edwards Apple Orchard on Sunday, October 4th, and as I was walking to my car after getting some delicious apple donuts and cider and on the horizon I see a PUMPKIN PATCH!

I immediately had to go check it out. Off in the rear of the grassy parkway, there is a wagon that says, “Pick Your Own Pumpkin!” There were two different choices, the biggins, were 2 for 15, and the small ones were about $4. Cash only. Let me tell you, I found the greatest pumpkins ever. Fat pumpkins, skinny pumpkins, and even WHITE PUMPKINS. I did get a little dirty while pulling them off the patch, it was so much fun.

This is such a family fun activity, while also social distancing! Edwards Apple Orchard is located at 7061 Centerville Rd, in Poplar Grove, IL.
