They are making parks bright this winter thanks to some small winter light displays done by their Parks Maintenance team and luminary walks which will be out at specific times at specific park locations. They hope this puts a smile on your face and helps make these dark winter months a little brighter.
Luminary Walks are from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on the select dates below:

January 5, 2021: Andrews Park, 850 N Central Ave, Rockford
January 12, 2021: Mullins-Pebble Creek Park, 5350 Windsor Road, Loves Park
January 19, 2021: Williams Sports Field, 1701 Huffman Blvd, Rockford
January 26, 2021: Beattie Playground, 1251 Rural Street, Rockford
