The Northern Illinois Food Bank has been helping families throughout the entire pandemic with drive-thru food distribution pop-up markets and is holding another one this Saturday, September 12th from 9 am until 12 pm. If capacity is met, the distribution may close early.

The groceries will include fresh fruit, fresh vegetables, dairy products, and lots more. There is no I.D. or documentation needed to pick up food, everyone is welcome! You can also find more Pop-Up Food Distribution Market dates on their Facebook page.

Northern Illinois Food Bank is also looking for volunteers to help with this event, if you have availability and want to give back to the community for a few hours this weekend, please visit their website.
