Festa Italiana Celebrates Their 45th Year with The Morning Stampede

Rockford’s Festa Italiana returns to Boylan Catholic’s grounds for a 45th year on August 2nd and 3rd, and will be hosted by the Greater Rockford Italian American Association.  The entire festival is run with the help of countless volunteers for GRIAA.

The only Stateline celebration where you can eat a chicken parm while riding a Tilt-a-Whirl will, as always, directly impact local youth with scholarships and promote Italian culture.

The event will feature, prominently, Italian foods, pasta making demonstrations, carnival rides, live music and of course – the bocce tournament.

Musical acts this year include: Dirt Road Rebels, Audio Drive, Blooze Brothers, Dead Man’s Hand and more!

For more information on the event, listen to The Morning Stampede’s Interview with Festa Chairman, Mike Maffioli.
