Is this heaven?…..It’s Iowa.
Tonight (August 12th) The Chicago Whitesox and New York Yankees will play in in the Field of Dreams game from Dyersville Iowa, the site of the iconic movie Field of Dreams.
The game was supposed to take place last year but it was postponed due to the pandemic. Only 8,000 fans will be in attendance for the game which will be the first MLB game ever played in Iowa. Look for all sorts of ties to the movie from the the uniforms the teams will be wearing to the corn in the outfield. Kevin Costner himself will be throwing out the first pitch.
