Due to the continuing caution of COVID-19 surrounding the Michigan Wolverines basketball program the scheduled showdown between the 3rd ranked Wolverines and the 6th ranked Fighting Illini scheduled for Thursday has been postponed. In its place the Illini will now travel to Nebraska to take on the Cornhuskers on Friday. The game on Friday is a makeup for a previous game that was postponed due to a COVID outbreak within the Nebraska program and will air at 8pm on the Big Ten Network.

The Big Ten also announced that the Illinois verse Michigan State game that was originally supposed to be played on Jan 23rd will now be played on February 23rd instead.
