If you’re driving around the Stateline in a 2018 or newer vehicle, this recall from General Motors could affect your ride. Here are the vehicles being recalled beginning December 14th, 2020.

General Motors is recalling more than 217,000 vehicles in the U.S. and Canada because transmission oil can leak, causing them to stop or catch fire.

According to ABC and WREX News, the recall covers certain versions of the 2018 through 2020 Chevrolet Equinox and Traverse, GMC Terrain, 2018 Chevrolet Malibu, 2018 and 2019 Chevrolet Cruze, Buick LaCrosse, 2019 through 2020 Buick Encore and Enclave, the Cadillac XT4, GMC Acadia and Chevrolet Blazer. Also the 2020 Cadillac XT6.

Dealers will inspect the mechanism and replace bolts if they’re missing. Watch for a recall in the mail, or an email from local dealers.
