Honky Tonker Joe Diffie, Passes Away at 61 From COVID-19

Shortly after making the announcement that he had tested positive for COVID-19 on Friday, one of the first country stars to do so, Joe Diffie has passed away at age 61 from complications from the coronavirus, according to a statement on Sunday.

“GRAMMY®-winning country music legend Joe Diffie passed away today, Sunday, March 29 from complications of coronavirus (COVID-19). His family requests privacy at this time.”
