Country Music Television announced on Tuesday that for the first time Kelsea Ballerini will host its’ award show by herself.

It’s Ballerini’s 4th consecutive time hosting the show, but in pervious iterations she was joined by Kane Brown or MARVEL actor Anthony Mackie.  Kelsea will be putting in overtime because she’s also slated to perform during the show which will air on Sunday, April 7 on CBS.

Ballerini said in a statement, “Hosting an awards show that celebrates the music that the fans love most has been an honor and I know this year will be another unforgettable night.”

There was no reported reason for why Kane Brown got the axe.
