LISTEN: The Morning Stampede Remembers Toby Keith

The country music world was brought to its’ knees Tuesday morning when we awoke to the news of Toby Keith’s passing at the age of 62.

An Oklahoma native, Keith was more than just a phenomenal performer and artist. He was a passionate American, accomplished song writer, proud father and doting husband. 

Since 2021, the 2-time ACM Entertainer of the Year had been battling stomach cancer. His recent return to the stage and music releases had many believing his health was trending up.

Toby passed peacefully with his family and his wife of 40 years, Tricia, by his side.
