Local “Hero” Returns to The Morning Stampede to Raise Money for Kids With Cancer

Audrianna is a young hero in our community making a difference for kids battling cancer around the country.

Last year, the 10-year-old Stateline native raised $10,500 dollars to fund research for childhood cancer at St. Jude’s, and she did so by selling hand-made bracelets around the Rockford area.  Her initiative is “Bracelets for Life”.

She also held 5K, ran in conjunction with her bracelets sales which saw over 300 participants in it’s first year in 2023.

Now in 2024, Audrianna and her team of Mom, Grandma to help with promotion and a dedicated church group to help with production are ready to break records.

Her altruistic efforts from 2023 earned her notoriety from Stateline organizations, namely, the American Legion in Rockton who awarded Audrianna with the groups “Hero Award”.

As the recipient of the award, her bracelet collection will be on display Sunday, April 28th at the Craft and Vendor Fair to kick off the summer of fundraising.

She joined The Morning Stampede for the 2nd time in 2 years to talk about her accomplishments and her excitement for this year.

In August, Bracelets for Life will hold their 2nd Annual 5k.
