Lord of the Remastered: Peter Jackson’s Lord of the Rings Trilogy is going to be hitting IMAX Theaters for the very first time in Remastered 4K. They went back and fixed some inconsistencies and other coloring and visual elements 20 years after the first trilogy. Feel old yet?
Posthumous Award Nomination: The late Chadwick Boseman who you know as Marvel’s Black Panther made history as the first actor to ever receive four SAG Awards nominations for film in one year for Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom … Sadly, we lost Chadwick Boseman to cancer in 2020, but this should be a nice moment of recognition for his family and fans. The awards will take place on April 4th.
And in Tech News: Google Pixel users will be able to measure their heart rate using their phone cameras. An app will track heart and breathing data by analyzing the movement of your chest and skin coloration. When they’ve perfected the tech, Google will roll it out to other Android devices.
