ROCKFORD — River Bluff Health & Rehabilitation is asking for help to brighten the holidays for its residents.

The nursing home and rehabilitation facility is asking for donations of small gifts or holiday lights and decorations for its second annual “Bedazzle the Bluff” holiday event.

Recommended donations include gift cards to local retailers, games, activities and crafts, along with holiday lights and decorations that will be hung in residents’ rooms and hallways. You can also mail or drop off a check made out to River Bluff Activity Fund to contribute.

“We are excited to host our second-annual Bedazzle event,” Administrator Pat McDiarmid said in a news release. “We so appreciated the community’s generosity last year and are looking forward to making the holiday season special for residents this year.”
