The Morning Stampede with Steve Summers and Ryan Sartori

February 1

6:00 Hour

– We woke up and its the 1st of the month.  You’ve probably never heard Bone Thugz & Harmony on a country station, but we played a snippet from them this morning.

– We heard Old Dominion on the show, so we felt compelled to tell you how excited we are about them coming to Rockford in just 10 days.

– So many of our great contest at thebullrockford.com are coming to an end soon, so we gave ya a refresher.

  • The Big Game Big TV promotion ends THIS SUNDAY. You can’t win unless you register. Take home a 65-inch TV just in time for The Big Game!
  • We also have Ale Fest coming up in 3 short days. It’s gunna be an awesome party, but you cant get in without tickets. Buy them HERE to join the fun.

7:00 Hour

– To celebrate Rockford Area Restaurant Week, we had Josh Binning from Lucha Cantina stop in to tell us about the specials you can find at the restaurant this week.

– We broke huge news from the sports world. Legendary quarterback, Tom Brady, announced his retirement from football and we were the first with the news for ya.

– We talked about how upset Dr. Phil must be, because he announced his retirement from daytime television late yesterday. Now that’s gunna be completely overshadowed by Brady’s retirement.

8:00 Hour

– Don’t forget to show up and show out at our 815 Ale Fest Pre Party this Friday at Oscar’s from 5-7pm. You’ll be able to snag Ale Fest tickets for face value without having to pay those online taxes. Also, VIP’s who already have tickets can come early to snag all their goodies before the lines form at Ale Fest on Saturday.

– It’s a Wheely Wednesday on 95.3 The Bull, so our resident NASCAR expert, Thomas Gomez, stopped by.

– We played the Bullseye Free Money Game.

  • Today’s guess from Becky in Poplar Grove was too low!

9:00 Hour

– We talked with the Angie Theisen from the Rockford Symphony Orchestra about their concert coming up on February 11th that will feature iconic music from the great composer, John Williams
