Have you been paying a little more at the pump lately? Gas prices seem to be on the rise across the country and drivers here in the stateline are feeling it.

According to gasbuddy.com, prices in Rockford are now more than 30 cents higher than last month and 43 cents higher than this time last year. Drivers in Rockford are now seeing and average of $2.87 a gallon.  Experts say the rise is expected to continue as the country continues to recover during the pandemic.
