I got the showbiz bug at Woodstock High School while in their theatre program. I found the radio bug while I was a freshman at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. They say “If you love what you do, you never work a day in your life”. I am proof that it’s true. From the minute I walked into WSUW FM 91.7, the college station in Whitewater, I found that connection.

How did I land in Rockford? A buddy of mine fixed me up on a blind date. Yes, a blind date.

I met my wife Yvonne on that blind date to see REO Speedway at the BMO Harris Bank Center, known at that time as the Metro Centre. It was like a connection I never felt. They say, “You know when it’s right, it’s right”. Yup.

Working in Rockford Radio gives you the chance to help so many. I am a Board Member for GiGi’s Playhouse-Rockford serving many with Down Syndrome. I assist whenever I can with The Rockford Salvation Army, March of Dimes, The Rock River Valley Food Pantry, and many more.

I have been blessed with three lovely daughters and two crazy dogs. Gunnar is a Chocolate lab and Greta is a Black Lab. Both keep me on my toes when it comes to throwing the Frisbees right after work…

I thank you for the many years you have been listening to me in every morning. I couldn’t do any of this without you. I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to join you every morning. Give me a call in the morning sometime and let’s catch up.
