The Best of the Best: Live Performances on The Morning Stampede in 2023

The Morning Stampede loves bringing Nashville to you! In 2023 Steve and Ryan welcomed so many artists chasing their version of the neon rainbow into the studio to perform live. Over the year, some of these artists became great friends and one of them made their way on the lineup of openers for Morgan Wallen’s One Night at a Time Tour in 2024.

Here’s a look back at the artists that graced us with their talent and music in 2023.

Morgan White visited The Morning Stampede in March of 2023. She brough with her all the charm in the world and her song “Not In This Heartbreak”.

Bryan Martin also came through the Stateline in March and stopped to spend time with Steve and Ryan. Bryan had a huge 2023 releasing his album “Poets and Old Souls” and now in 2024 he’s taking his unique Texas sound on tour with Morgan Wallen.

XOLEX (Alexis Curran) represents the wide net that country has cast recently. The rasp in her voice gave us shades of blues in her Carrie Underwood “Before He Cheats”-style song called “I Ain’t Buyin It”

If you love the classic country sound, Cutter Elliott is exactly that. Cutter has overcome an incredible amount to be able to stand on stage and perform the music he lives and loves. His song “Heartache Waiting To Happen” is a light-hearted reminder that nothing should keep you from your dreams.

Sydney Hansen visited The Morning Stampede while heading back to school in Nashville at Belmont. Steve was shocked that Sydney’s voiced was so entrancing and rich and went as far as to ask if she was treating her voice in whiskey. Sydney performed her single “You or the Whiskey”.

Chris Ramos and Ben Chism from Boomtown Saints quickly became friends of the show when they joined The Morning Stampede ahead of the Stampede Showcase that 95.3 The Bull held at Urban Forest Craft Brewing. Boomtown Saints made a second appearance in the Stateline when they opened for Matt Stell at Bull Bash 2023.

A Florida Man Joined The Morning Stampede: Cliff Dorsey brought his amazing story of how he got his start in country music. Steve and Ryan are always suckers for gifts, too. Cliff brought local honey from his home town of High Springs, FL and played songs from his new EP “New Neon”.

Dave Wilbert wowed us with his passioned for the music he created. His voice and personality radiated Garth Brooks energy. Check out his song “Tractors and Trucks”.

Ryne Brashear was really fun to have in studio. Ryne took time from his busy schedule of playing shows on Broadway in Nashville to head to Rockford and talk country with The Morning Stampede. Ryne’s song “Better With A Buzz” was a wake up call to us all about all the things that could be better in life with just a little beer buzz.
