A dog DNA company just released the results of their study on the most popular dog names of last year. And for female dogs, the #1 name was “Luna.” For male dogs, the most popular name was Cooper.
It turns out though that Luna is also a popular name for humans as well. According to Babycenter, Luna was also the 18th most popular name for girls last year!
