BELOIT, WIS. — Come on Barbie, let’s go party at truk’t in Beloit.

With the recent craze surrounding the “Barbie” and “Oppenheimer” movies, truk’t, 443 E. Grand Ave., is offering two specialty drinks through Sunday, Aug. 13.

The Barbie-rita mixes tequila, lime juice, dragon fruit simple syrup, edible glitter and lime.

The Smoked Manhattan contains Woodford Reserve, Carpano antica sweet vermouth, mandarine napolean, lemon peel and mesquite smoke.

The restaurant and bar is gearing up for another event later this month, too.

If you’re a fan of tacos and tequila, you may want to check out this special pairing event from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 29.

The “ultimate tequila and taco adventure” takes place at the Nosotros Tequila & Mezcal Tasting in The Barrel Room at truk’t.

You’ll be served a cocktail and appetizer meant to set the tone for an evening of bold flavors. A representative will guide you through the tasting and help you explore a flight featuring Nosotros Tequila Reposado, Nosotros Madera Tequila Anejo and Nosotros Mezcal.

You can also mix and match three tacos of your choice: American barbecue, pork al pastor, chicken tinga, Baja fish, charred brussels sprouts and short rib.
