Black Winter is a celebration of Black excellence in scholarship and a fundraiser for scholarships which support local Black students.

This black tie suggested, fabulous expected event is an opportunity to uplift our community’s legacy of past and current Black leaders, educators, philanthropists, and entrepreneurs. The Community Foundation of Northern Illinois has pledged up to $50,000 to match donations made to six scholarships designed to support Black students, and are thrilled to co-host this one-of-a-kind event.
