The 8th Annual Nik’s Home Run event at Rockford Rivets Stadium is a 7K Run, 1.5 Mile Fun Walk, and a free, open to the public Silent Auction conducted by Nik’s Grammy. All proceeds benefit Nik’s Wish.

It is a family-friendly event, kids welcomed. All the stadium facilities, including public restrooms, will be available, along with a terrific food with the 15th & Chris food truck. Over 100 items are up for bid at Grammy’s Silent Auction, which runs from 8:00 – 10:45 AM. Take a Sneak-Peak at the auction items on Friday, Oct 11th, from 5-7 PM at the Stadium during Packet Pickup. Music performances by Rockford’s own Harlan Jefferson and the Rockford Pipe Band.

Before leaving the event on Saturday, be sure to Test Drive a brand-new Lincoln courtesy of Manley’s Belvidere Ford Lincoln. For each Test Drive, the Lincoln Motor Company will donate $20 to Nik’s Wish. Here’s a video of last year’s race: https://vimeo.com/345599813 .

The Run and Walk start at 9:00 AM from the Rivets Stadium parking lot. If dedicating your race to someone, bring a copy of their picture for our Dreaming Tree. All registrants will get an awesome goodie-bag and a chance for 2 Bears tickets. The first 200 registrants get a COOL event T-shirt. $100 goes to the overall male & female winners. Age group, team, and para-athlete winners will also be recognized. Starting at 10:30 AM, the deeply moving Awards Ceremony will honor both the outstanding runners and the courageous young adults that Nik’s Wish serves.
