The Superhero Center for Autism is hosting its fourth annual Masquerade Ball. Join them for dinner, dancing, drinks, and a silent auction to celebrate our community of superheroes. Come dressed in your best, and don’t forget your mask.
Hosted by by WIFR-23’s Mark Henderson. Special remarks from Rockford Mayor Tom McNamara. Entertainment provided by William Groen of Basement Productions.
The Superhero Center for Autism is a non-profit organization offering support, education, and resources for individuals with autism and other special needs and their families. With an entirely volunteer board, every penny raised at this and our other events goes toward keeping our facility open for our superheroes.
To support our superheroes and their families, they offer a community center for safe play, support groups for superheroes, parents, and superhero siblings to build relationships, share ideas, and discuss how special needs play such a big role in their lives. They also offer parents resources to help navigate through the special needs world including IEPs, therapy options, and daily life challenges.
