Bios for the Night:

Guest Feature Matt Hall has been performing stand-up comedy for the better part of two decades. He’s played many clubs across the midwest and currently resides in Rockford where he hosts a morning radio show.

Main Feature Alex Savant is a young up-and-coming award-winning comedian from Rockford and Co-Producer of the renowned collective Chill Pill Comedy. Quickly climbing through the ranks of comics in the state-line area, Alex has found a voice that sounds just as comfortable shouting over a pool hall jukebox as it does deliver biting satire in the area’s most historic theaters. This stiff upper lip style follows in the working-class traditions of Pryor and Carlin – critical but not thoughtless, unabashed but not crass. Not afraid to punch above his weight class, Alex can be seen performing across the Midwest.

Main Feature Kevin Haas is a full-time journalist that hails from the great mighty city of Rockford Illinois. When he’s not in the News Tower, he’s at home thinking of weird stuff to say to strangers. Kevin can be seen in bars and comedy clubs all over the Midwest.

Headliner Kevin Wood Kevin Wood is a comic, writer, musician, and radio personality. He’s worked at the Chicago Improv, the Comedy Shrine, CG”s Comedy Club and more, and currently, you can hear him weekdays 5 to 10am on Rockford’s 104.9 The X.
