Get a tree and get planting!

In an effort to reforest the Forest City after two tornados that touched down last year, the City of Rockford will be giving away potted trees this Saturday May 1st. Stop by one of two locations from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

• Rock Valley College Parking Lot 1, 3301 N. Mulford Road

• Police District 2, 1410 Broadway
